Last updated: February 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Syntic Life ("Syntic Life," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information of visitors to syntic.life (the "Site"). Syntic Life is a biotechnology company based in the United States, and our Site shares information about our research, platform, and company with a global audience. This Policy applies only to the Site and not to any third-party websites it may link to.

Information We Collect

We aim to collect as little personal information as possible.

  • Information you give us. When you contact us, apply to join our team, or otherwise reach out, we collect the information you choose to provide — such as your name, email address, the contents of your message, and, for job applicants, your resume and related details.
  • Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we automatically log standard technical information, including your IP address, operating system, browser type and language, the pages you view, the site you came from, access times, and how you interact with the Site.
  • Cookies. We may use cookies — small data files stored on your device — to operate the Site and understand how it is used. We may use both session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain until deleted). You can control or reject cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not work as intended if you do.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and communications
  • Review and process job applications
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
  • Understand how visitors use the Site through aggregate analytics
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

How We Share Information

We do not share personal information except in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers who perform work for us, such as hosting, email, and analytics providers, and only as needed to perform that work.
  • Legal and safety reasons — to comply with laws, respond to lawful requests and legal process, enforce our terms, protect our rights and property, or address an emergency involving someone's safety.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business or assets.

We may also share aggregated or anonymized data that does not identify you.

Your Choices

You may contact us at any time to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and we will respond consistent with applicable law. If you receive emails from us, you can opt out using the unsubscribe instructions in those messages. You can also remove or reject cookies through your browser settings.

Your Rights Under the GDPR

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or another region with similar laws, you have certain rights regarding your personal data. We process personal data on one or more of these legal bases: your consent; our legitimate interests (such as operating and improving the Site); compliance with a legal obligation; or to protect someone's vital interests.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Delete your data where there is no overriding reason for us to keep it
  • Object to or restrict our processing of your data
  • Port your data to another provider in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond as required by law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law, after which we delete or anonymize it.

International Visitors

Our Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, your information will be processed and stored in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer.

Contact Form

When you use our contact form, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, email address, organization, country and message, along with basic technical details of the request. We use them only to read and answer your message, and to protect the form from abuse. Your message is sent by email to our team through our email provider, Resend.

Bot Protection

Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated abuse. Turnstile collects technical data from your browser and device to do this, and Cloudflare processes it under its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
