UniProt

Protein sequence and functional annotation data are drawn from the UniProt Consortium, a freely accessible, expert-curated resource that pairs protein sequences with information on their function, structure, and biological roles. It is maintained jointly by the EMBL-EBI, SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics, and PIR.

Additional structural datasets, where referenced, include attribution to their respective copyright holders: Kinetoplastid data (Wheeler Lab), AllTheBacteria data (AllTheBacteria Consortium), BFVD data (BFVD Development Team), and Viro3D (Litvin et al.).

Syntic Life does not claim ownership of this underlying data. We provide a search and reasoning interface on top of it.
